Anyone thinking of using www.onlinehomefurnishings.ie think again.
Do not trust this site. I got a corner couch last week fom them, this comes in two parts but the two parts dont match. I have tried without any success to get in touch with the company but they wont answer my emails or calls.
Also the address given on the website is an empty warehouse.

If anyone else has had a problem with this retailer i would appreciate any advice on how to deal with them.

check the spelling of the website - you're missing an "r" - link should be to www.onlinehomefurnishings.ie

According to the website they are based in the UK. My guess is their "warehouse" here is purely a delivery company's address.

Also, they quite clearly state that all customer service should be by e-mail (strange).

Also, they don't have a company name anywhere (ilegal), company number, trading addrtess, answerable phone number, no information about the products, no way of seeing the products etc etc.

You have 7 days to return the product, so I'd be e-maiing them pretty quick.

Edit - a bit of googling and using iedr domain registry - name of operator is Tracy Fisher and contact numebr ( published on a few advert sites ) is 0044 1527575690

The business is registered in Co Clare. No phone number though.

Thanks for all the detective work.
I emailed and called them within 2 hours of recieving the sofa so they can have no complaints there.
I did find the address in Clare, and im thinking of trying to resolve this through the small claims court, but if they are not listed that might prove to be a little difficult.

Start a Paypal dispute. It may or may not get you anywhere, but it's your first port of call anyway.
