You do realise that it actually still is on RTÉ as well don't you?!

    It wasnt the same.

One of the commentators ( Not Joe Deane ) had the keepers mixed up for the first 15 mins

Tv3's coverage of any sport is terrible.

    Commentary is dull and boring.

    Panelists are dull and boring.

    Presenters are dull and boring.

Usually a GAA game on tv can lead to people not traveling to watch the game but when it's on Tv3 I suspect the attendances go through the roof!

Ya it's amazing how much they can spoil the occasion.

I remember rewatching the Galway/Kilkenny semi final from 2005 on Setanta the day after attending and even though the game was being praised as one of the greatest of all time, the Setanta commentator really put a damper on it(i know Setanta and TV3 are diff, but they're coverage was nearly identical)

i just heard the commentator for a few moments for the kil/dub game sun on tv3. seriously was like something you'd hear at a local u-12 game with a farmer trying to commentate.(im from the country so i can say that!).

Pre and post game analysis is superior to RTE I think.

Nicky English is a good co commentator too...

I was at the games last Sunday so cant really comment on this weeks programmme....

The Sunday Game is not on tv3. It's an RTE production. What are you on about?

    The matches presumebly.

I seriously doubt anything TV3 have to offer can be worse then the football analysts on RTE. Actually I think GAA analysts in general are fine bar Brolly and Spillane.

I think those two only serve to shake things up, of course Brolly can come out with some clangers but in general they get up peoples noses and get people talking, which is the sign a good pundit.

Tv3 coverage is shocking to say the least

I would rather listen to the rte panelists argue as it is good to watch and that is what a good pundit is about.

It sounded Like Sean Walsh that used to do the radio commentary for Galway Bay FM. He's probably still getting used to being on tv with people he doesn't know beside him. Besides, better than listening to Marty Morrisey trying to do commentary
