hey have a question about getting multiroom and then taking the box to another house.

I know it has to be connected to a phoneline but...the primary sky+ box has no phoneline connected.

So as far as i can see I can move the new multiroom sky+ box to where the current box is...plug the phoneline in...take the old box that had no phoneline plugged in...put it in another house and pay the 15 per month?

Yea i kno its a bit dodge but screw sky, will it work??
    cheers

From the forum rules - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=295325

DON'T Discuss any methods that allow access to a pay-television service, other than taking out a legitimate, paid, subscription to the provider of that service.

You'll be breaking SKY T&C by doing what your asking about, it's theft of service.

Also if you search the forum for previous multi room queries you'll find some SKY users who for one reason or an other could not continue to use their phone lines got charged for two full subscriptions after receiving warnings from SKY.

I'd suggest if you are unhappy with SKY and want to screw them just leave them and go for Freesat .

Won't work because to get the multi-room set up, all relevant boxes will have to have a phone connection, including the main one that you currently have. It may not be connected now, but to get the multi room you'll have to agree to have it connected.
