New 'Driver' game hits this November!
They got rid of the on-foot bits and guns with a new 'shift' dynamic - it allows you to float above the streets and pick a car

But the best news: Director Mode is Back!!

    Trailer here:

A rendered movie for a new Driver game.

I am Jack's utter lack of excitement.

Driver 3 was the bane of my existence for about 3 weeks. A seriously unforgiving game but enjoyable nonetheless. I shall be keeping an eye on this.

Driver 3 made me swear that I would never play another Driver game ever again.

There's some gameplay footage from the Ubisoft press conference if you're interested.

Looks OK. From what I remember of Driver 3 (/10 :pac:) the on-foot parts were the worse parts. Driving was still tough though (start > fail > restart > fail > re...), but the original Driver was tough too (President's Run!) - I don't think I finished it without cheats.

Driver 4 bored me to tears.

no need for on-foot just chasing down ur prey or an escape was a real joy to me, shifting the weight of the car on a corner every millisecond counts.. never played Driver 4

surprised this took so long. can blame their Stuntman project some, but still a long time.. this is some oldschool gaming once again!

the trailer is actual in-game footage, of the future! 10 years at least :(
