Hi apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Ive just spent two frustrating hours over at my grannys house trying to change her new 42" LG TV from Digital back to Analogue mode.

She moved it onto a new stand today and pressed something but doesnt know what and is receiving the irish DTT signal at the moment. She does not have TV3 (test signal) which is what she wants

I asked another owner of an LG for advice and they have a button on their remote that you press to go from DTV to ATV. However she does NOT have this button on her remote and i simply do not know how to get it back for her.

The ariel is coming straight out of the wall and into her telly. Im guessing its something simple but i cant figure it out. Its a brand new telly bought from Tesco in the last few days.

Can anybody please advise me, thanks a million!

The D/A button on the top left of the remote cycles between digital and analog.

JDxra we did that but everytime we change the channel it seems to go back onto DTV mode. Is there a way of keeping it permently on Analogue mode?

When you press the D/A button then the OK button on your remote this should hold it on annalog.

Not sure why that would be - maybe no analogue channels are tuned? Maybe try and do an an auto tune (Select SETUP > Select Auto Tuning).

Did she have analogue TV3 before on this television?
