Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for (free) podcasts that discuss religion and theology.

If anyone else is interested, I reccommend an RTE series called Woman With The Wild Thing's Heart, which is a four part series on Mary Magdalene. Passion Players, also by RTE, is hosted by Gay Byrne and has discusses the roles of Judas, Mary, Pontius Pilate and Jesus himself in the passion. These can be found on iTunes.

So, I'm just looking for some more listening material. Hope some of you can give me some ideas. Thanks guys.

If you're interested in Orthodox Christianity I can recommend you Ancient Faith Radio - they have a big collection of podcasts and lectures in mp3 which can be found under "Podcasts" and "Specials" from the main website menu.

BTW, there is "Christian Resources" sticky thread here, have you checked it? I believe you can find podcasts on some of the sites linked there, e.g. veritas.org

Everyday Ethics from BBC Radio Ulster is a decent listen. It is broadcast on a Sunday morning and a digest is podcasted.

If you want to listen to some sermons, alot of churches now podcast their sermons each week.
