    Hi folks,
I am down to play scotch foresomes tomorrow. I have been playing golf a number of years but mostly singles and team events.
Can someone please explain the format to me ?

    Thanks in advance

    Scotch Foursomes
Both players drive and most suitable drive is selected. Ball is then played by the player whose drive is not selected and alternative shots from then until the ball is holed.
Next hole: Both players then drive again and so on.

Thanks for reply. So we don't have to use a certain amount of drives or anything. And we only use the one ball except for driving. And is it 3/4 combined handicap or something ?
How does the scoring work ? Strokes/points
