    I bought a car on adverts and seller cant find the log book im just wondering can i go about getting it myself coz need to get it on the road asap :D

    He'd have to apply for a replacement and then send it out to you. Cost about 12 euro, you shouldn't really have bought it in the first place without signing the log book or infact seeing the log book at all.

    Yeah i know i shouldn't of but i was buying 2 cars at the same time and he gave me the 1st one and said he'd find the other when he got home :(:(

    As LimerickMan said get the seller to apply for a replacement. This is the easiest way as he is (hopefully) the registered owner.

    Shouldent be a problem either way. Had similar issue a couple of years ago with (two) land Rovers. If you were smrt you have a recipt for your cash. Copy this and apply for replacment logbook. If all is as it should be with the vehicle... No prob.;)
