Hi all just want your opinion on something.

I've had a few summer jobs during college and am currently completing an internship so I already have a bit of experience to include on my CV.

However, one thing which I have always wondered about in whether or not to include work I have done with my father's business every summer during secondary school. It is relative to the job I would like to apply for soon however I'm wondering if an interviewer would look any different on work carried out in a family business?

    Thanks.

Absolutely include it. Careful how you phrase it, don't want to appear that you're benefitting from Daddy's money tree but especially as it's germane to your desired role!

For sure include!!!, It shows you were working, Employers always look for Gaps in CV. Make the timeline clear.

There's no reason for you to even mention it was a family business tbh.

You worked there. Why would you not put it on your CV

Just list the name, location of the company and your responsibilities like you would any other job.
