Just slapped a Cooler Master Hyper 212+ on an i5 750 and noticed one core is running slightly hotter than the rest by about 5 or 6 degrees.

Is this normal behaviour for an i5 or is something amiss here?

Most likely you've only got non-threaded apps running so one core is being slightly stressed and the other three are unloaded, causing the temperature difference :)

Ah ok, was worried I might have to reseat the cooler or something.

    Thanks Solitaire
