Creative Zen how to put Video on it?

    Hi I have a 32gb creative zen hi-fi. I have serveral converters on my laptop for trying different types of format to put some films stc onto the zen but no luck. Any one ever manage to put videos onto a zen? I have tried mp4 avi & gom but no luck

    If it's a Zen Vision M or Zen Vision W you have, then you need the CreativeSoftware to convert and/or add video files to your player. You should have received this software when you bought the player.

    No it's one of the crappy newer ones that the OP has, the ones with massive video restrictions....like .avi (xvid/divx) restricted to 320x240px

    Not sure on the type atm but I got it in Mar 2009. The software that was installed was Creative Centrale but there are no options for converting under the video column. From a look around I think I have to put the file I want into it & then convert it.

    Yea I have talked to some other people & I am told that the resolution is properly the main problem. Converting is easy but I havent tried to change the resolution yet.

    Used to have this problem too.
    Use Iriverter. Select the option for Vision M, uses the same resolution, codecs etc.
