I'm starting library school in UCD in September and recently received an email saying that for the first time, students will be able to choose between doing a thesis or a capstone project. both are 30 credits. from what i can tell, the capstone project is a team effort with a number of other students.
is the capstone expected to be completed during term time? [thesis generally done over the summer].
i'm not sure how it's graded -i imagine it could be risky depending on if you get slackers on your team or not!

anyone have any experience of it, and would you recommend it above a thesis?
