    Hey,

my dad is flying to Turkey next week, and on collecting his ticket today we noticed that the ticket lists Sullivan as his surname instead of O'Sullivan. The travel agent wrote in the O on the ticket, but this seems dodgy to me.

Does anyway have any idea if that is sufficient?

    Thanks in advance

Ask for a new ticket that matches exactly whats on his passport IMO its your right.... their mistake. They just dont want to go through the admin of it.Turkey could be awkward enough at the airport for immigration without having an initial wrong in a name.Happened me in the states and tried to charge me $50 to put the lette o on a boarding ticket.

My mam just told me there that she went down to the travel agency herself and they are going to issue a new ticket, but the ticket won't be ready before saturday so he will have to collect the ticket at the airport.
I think that's leaving it a bit late though.
Would that be common enough procedure?

Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease. Off myself tomorrow with my mam and my dad is joining us next week, so now i'll be able to enjoy the first week without worrying about that.
