    Hi all,

I'm doing some research on how changes in Irish society in the last century have changed what its meant to be a police officer in Ireland. I'm looking for retired gardai that I can interview, for about an hour, about their time in the guards. Very straight forward stuff, looking at their time in the guards, the changes they saw, how society changed and so. Doesnt' matter where they were stationed, what rank they were at or when they retired (in fact the longer they are retired the better). I'll travel to meet them and confidentiality is assured.

If you know anyone who might be interested please PM me. :)

    Thanks!

There is a retired members association; from what I've read many of the staff in the Garda credit unions are ex-Gardaí as well.

Thanks for the response. Already in touch with the Garda Credit Union in Cork and have now contacted the retired garda association... much appreciated!
