    Ps. Pay no attention to the ******** who come along saying xtravision is siht, and that they rent online for a fraction of the price.

    all the extras, which alot of people don't really want, is worth about €3.50-€4, so €4 - €4.50 for the rental aint exactly a bargain nowadays

    In an Xtravision close to me they have DVD rentals for €1 for 1 night, and €2 for 2 nights. Looks good value, although I think thats for the older movies, not new/recent releases. If they want to compete with the online rental services, thats the kind of prices they'll have to charge.

    I'll offer my own Xtra Vision style bargain...

    Pineapple Express - €3.99 [HMV]
    6 Pack Walkers - €0.99 [Spar]
    2 Ltr Pepsi - €0.92 [Dunnes]
    5 Pack Mars - €1.25 [Tesco]

    Total = €7.15

    A whole 84c cheaper than Xtra Vision plus you get more Crisps/Pepsi/Chocolate. And most of all, you don't have to worry bout late fees.

    Not saying yours isn't a valid BA OP, just pointing out what's available for people if they shop around.

    in if you have a thing called the internet you can take away that 4 euros so it will be only 3.15 for the food

    There's another 8.99 deal which is good, includes a tub of Haagan Daaz which alone is worth 6 quid.

    They've since changed back to the old prices since Thursday. €2 1 movie, etc...

    There's a new "Recent Releases" section now for €3.50 or two for €6, has the likes of Harry Brown, Inglourious Basterds, Zombieland, etc...
