Hi - PTSD is definitely a challenge to deal with, however on the positive side a lot of post traumatic growth can come from the experience. There is a ptsd forum you will find if you if you google it (I don't think if I supposed to add URL's on here). I am not a huge fan of the site owner as he is very opinionated and a bit militant but you will find many, many others on that site that can identify with you and know what you are going through. Might be worth checking it out.

    All I'll say is this.

Don't bother medicating yourself - waste of time and money.

Go to a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. This is the most effective treatment for PTSD, anxiety disorder and depression.

Ask your doctor to refer you to a *specifically* CBT counsellor as soon as you can.

This will pass, you will get better, just hold out! x

I agree with the above, the only solution IMO. Good luck.

Took me a few years to get to grips with ptsd and the other thing's that about because of it, Best thing to do is try a cognitive behaviour therapist i wish i got help for it sooner than i did it can really derail your life so its best seek help sooner rather than later.
