Bad thing. At least Bruton had charisma.

Wonder if this will split the party or spur a walk-out...

So now that Enda won, more of the same then?

What FG people say and what they do is two different things.

FG never stcik to their word and the fronty benchers will mostly be there when the reshuffle happens!

    See FG have no word!

One of two things: a split or an emittered party attempting to re-unite.

Both lead to the same thing: FG aren't going to have a majority after the next election.

Which leads to either a FF / Lab or Lab / FG government.

Which means call in the IMF. :(

That is really dissapointing. I'm very surprised.
The FG party obviously have no intention of listening to the public.
My voting options are almost nil at this stage.

Wonder if those that voted for Brunton or backed him in public could possibly be in a position to sit in the front benches with Enda. Of the 70 that could vote, how many are TDs, there was ORichtas mebers there i am sure and were allowed to vote and there was definatly MEPs there. I saw Sean Kelly go in on the news.

Will it all mean that Enda will have enough in his team to form a front bench from those who he can trust or who will back him in both public and in private.

It's a very bad thing how can he expect the country to vote for him in the next election when so many of the people he works with closely don't think he can do the job.
He has a very long and hard way to go now if he wants to get the top job.

Hopefully he will cause I cannot stand to think what would happe in a labour lead government and we already know what FF are capable of.....f**k all

I disagree, FF will be shat upon at the next election a la the PDs at the last one.

This is a great day for Labour , Happy Gilmore will be licking his chops at the prospect of being an equal or majority party in the next Goverment.

Dont know much about labours policies but Happy would probably make a good Taoiseach.

What is it with people and fooking charisma??. This is not the X-factor. Bruton has an excellent financial mind. Neither, I nor you, nor Enda himself need or want Bruton leading the party. We want him sorting out the economy. Why cant people see this???

What FG people say and what they do is two different things.
By Fine Gael people do you mean Fine Gael, or do you mean people who support them?

Guilmore will be kind of smug tonight and will be for a while, but most people will know what they are like. The present Irish Labour PArty is a joining of several different parties, including a break away from SF (someone please correct me if i am wrong) and we all know that no one in the dail wants to go into government with SF.
