    Hi

One of my headlights has blown.

Where around D15/blanch/carpenterstown is a reasonable place to get the headlight bulb replaced, Or would I be able to do it myself?

Also how much should I expect to shell out?

You can do it yourself if you're capable of changing a plug. Shouldn't be more than €20, probably less.

you need a H7 bulb, there about €3 in most motor factors and just fit it yourself.
failing that pop over to Halfords in the Blanch centre, buy the bulb and they will fit it for you there and then. (may be a small fee involved)

BMW head lights are one of the easiest to change.

Twist the bulb holder and pull. remove holder, remove bulb. replace bulb.

replace holder, Twist lock back in position.

    BOOM!

Well, I have a habit of taking things apart and not getting then back together or having "engineering spares" left over :)

I might go over to halfords.

Is it worth getting the other one done also?

Just make sure not to touch the bulb glass itself. The oils on your skin will make the bulb die prematurely.
