My eyes have fallen on this little baby recently:

Now - I know they are hard to find in Europe being American and oldish but I was hoping perhaps someone in here might own one and would't mind me having a proper look at it - or perhaps even borrowing it for a while.

I missed out on the ones I was trying to get on Ebay by some very persistent buyers and only 6 or so being sold at the moment.

Any information in regards to getting my hands on one would also be appreciated!

I know nothing about old cameras, but there's a shop near Grafton street with loads of old models in the window, one looked a bit like that. I think it was Brown Thomas actually? I could be well off on th style of cam, as I said, i know nothing about them. have a look though.

They're kinda like the argus, they have a certain brutally utilitarian mechanical elegance to them. It's been said that mercury benefited from a complete lack of experience in 35mm camera design when designing the univex :D
You know they're half frame, right ?

Jup - I just about gathered that much :p It still takes 35mm though I believe?

Well, preferably I'd like a fully working one - but by lack of better, a broken one would be fine - it just looks so pwetty!!
