Yeah, this is fine as the Armagh forum is noticeably quiet alright.

Sorry I cant help myself but Id imagine you would have nothing to be concerned about.

If you dont get any feedback here then the other team members will give you some advice Im sure - providing you are not knocking 9 bells out of each other during the game. :D

Armaghs not much of a nightlife destination unfortunately. Half the town heads to clubs in Banbridge, the other half heads to Monaghan.

For pubs the areas to avoid (being a GAA club) are Barrack Street/bottom end of Scotch Street. You'll know it by the 12th bunting. You wouldn't be shot on sight but there would be more than a few sideways "who the f***" glances. There are pubs down round Thomas St/Ogle St and the Shambles which would be more GAA inclined though I don't know them that well. Have heard decent things about Red Neds (I think).

Post-pub best bets are the Marketplace Theatre which has two bars and generally a band, or the City Hotel which will happily take £10 off you to let you into it's "club" (a function room with the lights turned off). Both are mixed and ye won't have any cause for hassle.

But sure if you's are meeting a local club they'll have plenty of ideas.
