For £18.99, a bit more of a stretch than the ones above, you can by the Sennheiser CX-300 II here:

These headphones are amazing, really worth the money and have got brilliant reviews all round, competing with products costing 3 figures!

Argos have the CX 200's for €40, so it shows how extortionate they are.

Which at today's exchange rates leaves it about 20 cents short of €20 on Amazon

Are those earphones not really sore on your ears after a while? I tried some cheapy brand in ear ones and I had to take them out after 5 mins!

I've been using mine for about a year with no problems, for around 3 hours a day. They come with a few different earbud things so one size should be comfortable. Probably different from person to person though :P

i get my in-ear headphones in Zhivago in Galway city - there's 2 pair there i usually go for - the jWin pair @ €5 but they last about 6 months and a Sony pair for €10 that have done me since september. pretty good value imo
i wouldn't pay any more than €10 for headphones anyway - certainly not €28!

Damn, I thought this was for an in-ear phone, not in-ear headphones, or earphones, or earbuds.

Just because something is cheap, doesn't make it good value.

Most of those cheap earphones are just junk. Most people will crank the volume too high on cheap earphones, thinking volume = quality. All its doing is maybe wrecking your ears. If you aren't fussy about sound quality, then it doesn't matter what you listen too.

The Sennheiser CX300 are too bassy IMO. All BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM with those. Also in ear phones, getting a snug fit is critical. If you don't they'll sound all weedy. So they come with different sized tips. If you like lots of bass you'll probably like these. Especially if you are used to cheap earphones. Because you get better isolation you'll probably listen at much lower volumes too.

MX80 ear phones for €13.99 seems a good deal for cheap earphones. They'll be a step up from the usual junk.

    Heatons sometimes do similar deals.
