    Hi,
I was just wondering what the Charleville show is like? I was half thinking of travelling down to it this year.
Is it all cars or are there tractors machinery too?
All static or is there any working displays?

a lot of cars, a good few commercials, way to many tractors:D a funfair i think and lots of stalls selling crap...

verdict: a good show not a patch on Trim or Terenure....

Well worth it if you're down that way, been for the last 2 years in the 101, going again this year. There's a lot of commercials there including a big group from the UK every year. Also a bit of a Land Rover gathering

Great show, always a great selection of cars, tractors and commercials,
Tractors and commercials are usually paraded if space allows.

To see tractors working, you need to head to Moynalty in August or Mountbellew at the end of July.

Charleville is a great show and is the week before Terenure so there's no clash. Yes there are tractors but the lorries that come over from the UK are incredible, especially those with accommodation disguised in the rear. Being Cork there will be a strong Ford contingent.

It's a great family weekend. You can bring the kids to the amusements, the showjumping, the pet farm animals.

Entry is free if you bring a vehicle and you get a plaque and a free cuppa.

    I'll definitely be there.

Know a few people going, not heading myself though. I heard they were having a world record attempt for the most single cylinder tractors in one place.
