Labour Court

Cousin was let go from her job a few mths ago, employer owed about 2k to her. Employer promised payment but it never materialised. Company was small so no contract was ever signed even though one was requested.

Cousin then arranged a labor court hearing in relation to this, employer never showed therefor won the case.

Where to next, is a labour court recomendation worth anything?

I see small claims court is not an option as they dont deal with these type of claims.

Yes, Anything in regards to payment of wages is actionable under the district court. Unfair dissmissal, etc i am not sure is actionable.

Actually the point is that you have a decision of the labour court in your favour (or rather your cousin does) would generally mean you proceed to the Circuit Court to get an enforcement order. Order 57 Circuit Court Rules as amended applies, subject to the particular legislation under which the decision or decisions arose.
