Discontinued guitar?

Hi. I recently bought a guitar in a local music shop. All I was told was that it's a limited edition Squier Stratocaster. After hours of searching the internet I finally found the make: Squier Satin Trans Fat Stratocaster HH.

Mines is ebony, not crimson, btw. It is of great sentimental value to me and I was just wondering if anyone knows whether it is still in production or if it is discontinued.

Hi, nice looking guitar you've got there! Yeap it's entirely possible that it's gone out of production. Squier very very frequently change the products they produce! If it's not listed on their website, then it's probably considered discontinued.

Thanks, I was thinking it was discontinued. I had better take good care of it.

Yeah it's a really nice guitar to play, it has changed my opinion on Fender/Squier. I really didn't like them before I bought this guitar. Even the pick guards annoyed me.
