Apologies if this is in the wrong section....

Going camping with wife and 3 young kids (oldest is 5). Thinking of heading to Barley Cove - by all accounts the scenery, beach, weather are all fantastic. Can't find much info on the actual campsite facilities though. Going for about 10 days and will only be setting up in one location - not so easy to move about with wee ones. Just a bit worried that the kids might get bored after a few days. If the weather turns cool, the beach may not appeal so much. Does anyone know if there is a playground in the area or what facilities/amenities are close by that will help keep kids entertained and give mam and dad a break every now and then!! Are shops, restaurants / pubs close to camp site?

Any recommendations for other locations in West Cork which would fit the bill are more than welcome.

I know from sailing into Barley Cove it's stunning, but with ten days, it might drag a little as as far as I know there's not tonnes to do there apart from beach, especially if you get some bad weather. Eagle Point Camp Site, near Glengarrif, might be worth checking out also. You've got a bamboo park, play ground and boat trips to Garnish Island and the seals very close by. A trip in the cable car across to Dursey Island is just over an hour's drive from there also.
