Recommendations please - basic canon digital camera

Hi I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive canon digital camera. The budget stretches to about €150. Just having a quick look at argos to get an idea of what they offer, and they have A480 - €71.99 A490 - €120 A3000 IS - €143.32 Which of these is the best option, or should I be looking elsewhere. Thanks

Which of these is the best option, or should I be looking elsewhere.

A lot of the entry level compacts are very similar in terms of features. Chances are if you buy a Canon you'll probably do well, they're generally regarded as having good all round image quality and ergonomics etc etc.
