[Awards] almost time again for nominations

So we've 2 weeks left in June so it's almost time to start thinking about the best of Athletrics/Running/ Triathlon for the first 6 months of 2010.

For anyone not familiar with the awards, they are just a little fun to recognise some of the contributions and achievements of boardsies during the year.

To remind everyone, the categories we usually nominate in are

1. Performance Highlight Jan-Jun 2010
2. Athlete of Jan-Jun 2010
3. Photo Highlight Jan-Jun 2010
4. A/R/T Thread Jan-Jun 2010
5. Best poster Jan-Jun 2010
6. Best Debut Jan-Jun 2010
7. Best training log Jan-Jun2010
8. Best race report

If people want to start having a think about who/what they would like to nominate, I will start work on the shortlist. I'll accept nominations until 6 pm on 2nd July at which point I will put up a series of polls which will be open for about a week.

PM me your nominations. 2 nominations required to be included in the poll. It's not necessary to nominate for each category.

Are we talking senior athletes here or do juvenile athletes get nominated?
For example would Mark English or Katie Kirk be allowed to be nominated?

The awards are for this forums users only, not sure if the people you've mentioned contribute with posts to this forum.
Example enduro was nominated for and won best performance last year for a 24 hour race he was involved in.

Just a couple of hours left for nominations. We have a bumper crop this time around, with 81 nominations so far. This is wayyyyyy more than the last set.
