    Hi all.

I just left college after 2 years (possibly going back in sp/oct) and am currently unemployed, can't find a job anywhere.

I'm living with my folks and I'm getting sick of sponging off them (also don't think they can afford it :() so I'm thinking of going on the JSA or whatever I'm eligible for.

So I'm 20, living with my parents, looking for work. What kind of benfit can I get if any.

    Thanks a million

Have you any contributions worked up from working???

If not, then you will have to go through a means test, where the social welfare will take both your parents income into account. And being 20 years old you would not be entitled to the full payment of €196
