    Its easier handled!And ferments better...according to ag science book!
    other than that it's not very good for cattles stomachs!

    I don't know about precision chop silage as I make all bales with over 10 years. I used to make double chop silage before that, usually cut first week of June. Any cow that was not incalf would fatten on double chop silage without any supplements over the winter.
