due to tendonitus in both knees :( been told to stay off them... not i did cut out leg exersizes and tried do what i could with out working the knee. so i sort of managed well with bicep/tricep exersizes, chest shoulders core.. how ever the pain did get worse and eventually went doc.
    basically told to rest

i had the pain say 4 weeks and this is the 5th now. the pain is going but am due to go on sun holiday on the 27th this month for a week. do i shut up shop and have as much rest into the knee as possible.. or take a chance and do a light bit (but this seemed irritate it over the last few weeks)
i feel i sould rest but will a 3 week break from gym see me loose toneing or muscley areas?
it would be my first long break from gym since ive been going in 10 months, excluding one week break i took 2 months ago,
i usually train 4 days a week. 3 day weights. one day cardio. bikeing the weekend when it dry

    thanks in advance

    :pac:

    Hi Alfy101

Unfortunately it is against the Forum charter to give medical advice and nobody here is qualified to override the advice you received from your doctor.

This is the advice you should follow. Sorry But I feel I must close this thread.

    Best Regards,

    M

To be honest and i'm really not trying to be smart, i found it very hard to read and understand that message. From what I can make out you're knees are fecked and the doctor told you to rest them, that's what I'd do and no one else here will give you advice other than that I'd imagine.
You've answered a couple of your own questions there as well:
"do i shut up shop and have as much rest into the knee as possible.. or take a chance and do a light bit (but this seemed irritate it over the last few weeks)"
Rest, do what your doctor told you, go enjoy your holiday and come back with a serious hunger for training and you won't even miss the few weeks out!
