    Im interested in this ... but you know the old saying , "too good to be true , it's not true" ... anybody have dealings with these guys ??

    Not really that fantastic op it is a petrol and a 1.4 which is dead as a maggot. It looks like the base model aswell.

    Very well priced, have no dealings with him but he's been around a few years. Originally operated out of Limerick I think but is in Dublin the last couple years. His name is Vladimir IIRC. As with any car from any dealer - get it checked independently!

    OP you'll regret getting that engine - it's very slow in a heavyish car. If you do get it, don't bother trying to overtaking anything but a Micra. Seriously, a 1.4 engine in an Octavia is a false economy as you'll have to burn more fuel to lug the car around then you would with a 1.6.

    That said, it does have a very big boot.

    Youll get it around allright, I have one, but trading up to diesel. My tank is nearly always empty with passing people out. Still, would never stray from Skoda unless they don't bring out anything better over next few yrs.

    And big boot is absolutely a godsend when going camping with kids!!:D
