I'm down in Ennis for a few days work and also looking for a dress to wear to all the weddings that are coming up. Anyone know where's good to look boutique wise?

Not the biggest Ennis Fan to be honest, its just a bit small. But there are a lot of boutiques. I have heard a lot of good things about Kymari Boutique, might be worth checking out

Ennis is apparently known as the boutique capital of Ireland  so you're going to the right place!!
    Depending on what you want:
Kymari (Parnell St., just past the cinema) is great for occasion wear, they stock Charas and a few other brands like that, got a fab dress there last year for a wedding and haven't seen it anywhere else!
Willow, at the top of O' Connell St., has Ted Baker, etc., lovely clothing with a very feminine twist.
Cornucopia, in the market, has just about everything, really good buying by the owner and staff means that there are lots of little surprises from brands that other shops stock-they seem to get pieces that aren't anywhere else.
County Boutique/Chez Marie, both on O' Connell St., both seem to appeal mainly to a 40+ age group, but are definately worth a look as they have some really unusual pieces, a friend got a gorgeous flapper-style dress in Chez Marie, and my mum got an amazing m-o-b outfit from the County Boutique.
    Enjoy the shopping!

I lived in Ennis for a while last year with work and yes, it is great for boutiques! You would be stuck with one small Penneys for your 'bits' but there are tonnes of small shops including that Kymari one mentioned. Also great for shoes!! Highly recommend it if looking for a dress for a wedding/event.
