Question regarding LCVP w/o Irish

I was just wondering if anyone could help answer my question...

I do 6 subjects with lcvp as the 7th subject and I do not do Irish.
I am just curious because I am in danger of failing HL French ( I got a D1 in the mocks) and would I still get into to college if I fail French because technically I did not pass 6 subjects as stated in the minimum requirements or would LCVP count as the 6th subject???

    Thanks for your time :)

For most colleges LCVP counts as a 6th subject,
I do 7 altogether and i did LCVP and for the college i want to go to, i need 6 subjects but they said that i can't count LCVP as a subject but i can only use it for points. Depends on the college i think really.

yea that's what I was thinking too that it only counts for points purposes....
Did your college happen to be ucd dcu or trinity by any chance???

It's DIT actually but i think the others like DCU and UCD are the same, not sure about trinity.

Remember that some universities have French as a requirement to get in!
