First time posting in this section.

Just wondering how you know if a will has been made?

In this case, both parents have died and one of the children has assumed ownership of the house, even though none of the other children have received any contact from a solicitor or anything about a will hearing. The other children believe that no will was ever made, how do you find out if this is the case?

If only wills had to be registered in order to be effective...

Unless said children are happy to give the house to the other child, then they need to consult a solicitor.
