Grad Application Question "Biggest Achievement?"

    Hi,

I'm currently applying for a job and am looking for advice on how to go about answering this one:

"Biggest Achievement to date and how it was achieved?"

I've looked online (and at the "stickies") but what I've seen says to use occupational examples and it's a grad job so I'm assuming they don't really expect that?
Anyway, my jobs to date have been more about money than career (cust. service, admin, etc.) so have not really generated goals and related achievements.

IMO all my suitable achievements are either educational or financial.

My personal life isn't a mad marathon running, mountain climbing, charity and volunteering saga - I've been focused on getting the degree, being financially sound, working out what career I want and pursuing relevant qualification, so no big ideas there. Any big personal achievements are more responding to situations than setting a goal and going for it, and I'm not really willing to share these with HR anyway (they're too personal; somewhat emotional).

Advice as to what is most appropriate?

    Thanks!

    Ari

If you've no relevant work experience, I'd see no problem with saying that it was getting your degree and other qualifications. Did you get good marks?

I always say my degree, and passing my driving test first time. Works for me.

    Thanks,

I have good grades so I'll go with that.

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't total nonsense to put college stuff down.

Your advice is much appreciated :D
