    hi i had a little mishap in my '06 astra hatchback and i need to re attach the plastic bumper. it seems i need to remove the rear lights to do so. does anybody know how to do this without me having to buy a manual, thanks :(

    Not totally sure about that model, but if the rear lights are similar to the previous (98-04) model, then: open the boot, look for the plastic panels behind the headlights, and remove them (it'll be obvious how to remove the panels). Then unscrew the 2 plastic nuts on each light unit, taking care not to drop them (or they will fall in between the panels and you'll never get them out). Remove the wiring by squeezing the clip and gently pulling it away from the light. Keep your hand on the light from the outside to stop it from falling off when you unscrew the nuts. Hope that helps.
