Cost of Weddings Abroad ???

    hi all , i have just started looking into weddings abroad and im suprised at the cost of it , is everyone else the same or have ye got good deals. I thought the meal would be less expensive as when you eat out in portugal spain etc its usually more affordable than Ireland. Also alot of hotels i have been given quotes by dont let your guests have an option its just a set menu and are charged extra after 12.00 for extra hrs of service, What do you think and have ye been dealing with hotels villas with more choice. Havent decided on where to have wedding but i have been looking into spain, portugal & malta .Thanks
