Recycling / disposing of old tyres

    Hello,

Doing a clean up around the place, and I have some old tyres that I need to get rid of.

Does anyone know whats the story with these now? Are they recycle-able? Or are they considered waste, so have to get a skip for them? (I assume they would be accepted in a skip?)

Am based in Cork, so if anyone knew anyone down here that deals with em, that would be great.

    Thanks.

not allowed to skip them ... think they have to go for recycling or see if a farmer wants them for their pit

Yeah, I had a feeling that might be the case.

Not sure anyone would want them for silage - they're not all car tyres, there is lorry and tractor tyres in there too (wherever they came from)

    Thanks for reply.
