Rent offset against Mortgage

    Hello all, I'm receiving unemployment assistance( 196 euro )and help with the interest element of my mortgage 85 euro p.w., but what I would like to know is if I moved back with my Mum and rent my flat for 750 a month and paid it off my mortgage which is 1030 a month would I be still left with 196 pw after the social welfare done there calculations or is it a non runner from the start.

    You will loose the mortgage help as you would be earning more than the 84 euro per week.

    Not sure about the 196

    Katy, am I right in seeing that your mortgage is 1050 and that all you get in mortgage interest supplement is 85 euros per week??? I'm going to be officially unemployed from next week so will have to go through all of this. My mortgage is round the 600 a month and all I will have is the 196 a week JS so what do you think I will get?? By the sounds of yours not very much at all! Oh my God....
