my question is which jaguar axles come with a lsd?

i want to marry it up to a rover v8 engine and peeps tell me the jag axle is good because of the irs in it.

now.which model do i need to look out for at the breakers
i dont want a specialist supplier with race ready ones for a bomb, just something i can pick up handy

a year and model number would be great

Any XJ6 or XJS from the '70's onwards will have IRS. For an LSD though I think you'd have to be looking at V12 models and not all will have a limo (called Powerlock in Jag circles I believe) . Alternatively some of the later XJR's may have a limo.

All twelve cylinder Jaguars were standard with LSD as was every E-Type and XJS regardless of engine.

So any Jaguar XJ12 or Daimler Double Six will do the job.
The same goes for the XJS, however there is a difference in width and ratios on these axles.
    The XJ12 is 3.31, the XJS came in 2.88, 3.07 and 3.54.

    Hope this helps.
