sound but no picture coming through HDMI & AV channels..Help!

    Hi

    Dont know if im posting this in the wrong section, i just bought a LG Plasma tv, Ive set it al up & the basic channels coming through the antenna are working fine, I have both picture & sound, However when i go to run the UPC Digital through the AV channels there is sound but no picture & it is saying there is no signal yet there is perfect sound coming through, the same when i run the Playstation 3 through the HDMI cable, there is sound but no picture..but if i run the playstation through the original scart lead it works fine??

    Would anyone have any advice on what could be causing this?
