    Hi,

    Laptop - Samsung R505
    OS - VISTA 32bit

I'm having a bit of trouble setting up my ps3 controller with my laptop. I've downloaded two drivers, the instructions for one seem to apply to Win XP and i've not found any for vista. with that driver i do not see the controller under games controllers. instructions say to check under printers and other hardware.

i came across another installer, instructions say i need to turn off something off in the advanced boot menu. Something i cannot do as half of the keyboard on my laptop isnt working.

resolution: i borrowed a dell keyboard off someone.
problem: dell keyboard is only active once windows is running, hence - cannot select option in advanced boot menu... any advice (apart from clean/fix laptop keyboard)

here is a link to what i'm doing.

    looking forward to your replies:D

Would it not be easier to buy a generic pc gamepad 12euro ,or 360 pad with a usb lead, non wireless, my 360 pad with usb lead works grand on all pc games, that are designed for gamepad controllers. or theres a pc to ps2 adaptor if you wanna stick with sony products.
