    Hi

First time poster. Heading out to Florida for three weeks in November to complete my PPL. Does anybody know of anywhere on the island of Ireland where I can take the CAA PPL ground exams and also the RT oral exam so I can get them out of the way and just focus on flying when I get over there.

    Thanks in advance

Not sure, but I did my ppl in OBA in Florida. Did all the studying for the written exams in Ireland and had them done in the first 4 days. I didn't do any flying the first day or two anyway as I hadn't had my finger prints taken. Depending on who your going over to, it might work out easier & a cheaper to do it over there.

You cannot do the Brit exams here, should be obvious that. Clearly though you can do them on the British (disputed by some people) part of this island. So enquiries to the clubs and schools there would be obvious. There are only a few. So should be easy. Newtonards, Enniskillen, etc.
