i took my theory test 3 years ago, got my license and happily drove around for 2 years. last june i gave up my car and didnt renew my license...but now i want to start driving again! can i still renew my license or has it gone too long (a year) and have to do it again?
also, does not driving for a year affect my no claims bonus???
    thanks in advance!! :D

(by the way, never got my full license, only provisional!)

From the RSA site: Note: you will be regarded as an applicant for a first learner permit in respect of a particular vehicle category if you have not held such a licence in the preceding five years.

Would dictate that you should be able to renew! As regards your No claims, I would imagine that it needs to be continuous driving, but best place to ask would be the particular insurance company.
