Dose anyone know anywhere, online or otherwise, that I can pick up black Ray Ban Wayfarers?

I don't fancy paying the full €120 for them but I would like to get the genuine article. My first stop for most things is ebay but I'm reasonably confident that 99% of whats on there are fakes. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

PS: I hope posting on here is ok. I just thought I might get a better response here than from the Consumers forum.

I bought mine in Sunglasses Hut. Just make sure its the right model Wayfarer your ordering as i presume you know that there are different sizes, styles etc offered by Ray Ban currently. They all look very similar but there are variations which you might miss buying online.

How much did they set you back in Sunglasses Hut?

I spotted that there are many models alright. I'm guessing the main differences relate to the colour of the frame & lens?

    Did you try Brown Thomas?

I got mine in eyeglasses from this crowd.

    http://www.specsuperstore.com/products/designer_sunglasses/ray_ban/rb2140

Very good site and shipping is fast depending if you get a prescription or not.

No, haven't tried there as of yet but I'm in town during the week and will pop in for a look.

Thanks, looks good alright and not too bad price wise.

Any opinion on these ones I found on ebay?

I've been in contact with the seller and they assure me that they are genuine & have good feedback. They also offer a refund if I'm not happy.

I use ebay all the time but am I mad to buy them off ebay?

Without wishing to hijack the thread, if anyone has recomendations for a source of Raybans that also fit perscription lenses would be greatfully appricated.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Oh I'd love a decent pair of prescription sunglasses!

People always tell me to get contacts/laser so I can wear what ever I want ... but I love wearing glasses :)

I'm very fortunate to have perfect eyesight but many of my friends need glasses but refuse to wear them. One of my best friends had laser while the other wears contacts. Looking from the outside I would encourage women in particular to wear there glasses as they can be very sexy indeed :D

Anyway, back to topic. I called the Sunglasses Hut in Dublin Airport today and the lady quoted me €136 for a pair of original Wayfarers. I thought that place was supposed to be cheaper than the high street not dearer. I'm confident in saying I priced Wayfarers, maybe not the exact same model, in Blanchardstown for €120. How can this be right?
