I know in my town the local boarding school kids are expected to wear their uniforms on weekend outings or on Sundays going to church. Can't think of any other reason, maybe it's girl's brigade or something?

Only when they screw up the English papers.

Saw a load of South African kids dancing away in the crowd in their school uniforms during the Good Korea vs Greece match.

It's because of Saturday study centres.. some schools insist they wear uniform even to study on a Saturday... thank god my school didn't!

It could be confirmations aswell - some schools have the rule that the kids wear their uniform to the church and then they change into their nice outfits afterwards..

I remember during the LC, (Which would be about now), we had extra optional revision classes on a Saturday....and had to wear uniform. Mystery explained!

I'm seriously worried that people are missing out on the fact they're PRIMARY SCHOOL students!

Doh - I hate when I misread a post! Thanks for pointing that out!

Whereabouts are you OP? I wonder ould this be akin to some mums mentality of going to the shop in pjs - ie. those clothes are the handiest? 'just pop up to the shop in that'?

Lots of young fellas running around in shorts? That's the kind of thing you like looking at.
You're probably imagining what they'd look like without shorts.
You're sitting there, imagining that, with a big smile on your face.
    Ya dirty fecker!
