How do you throw a party?

Do you get people to BYOB or do you buy some house drink and get people to bring some themselves but have some for everyone aswell?

Today i bought a load of drink for a BBQ and bought a load of food. Party cant be a failure with free drink and food!!

Plenty of booze, good music & some snacks.

Don't go putting on frozen food in the oven because it's completely tasteless & yucky.

Don't put on a deep fat fryer because you will probably burn the place down.

Do consider leaving a mop in the bathroom for any accidents.

Do lock your bedroom door because you don't want to get lucky & walk in to do the deed only to find someone passed out/ already riding in there.

If anyone shows up without drinking at least a bottle of wine then I'd consider charging them for any other drink they have the mean bastards

OP you're the lad who puts other party hosts to shame! My last party there was about 20+ of us,a few packets of burgers,sausages,salad etc and 2 communal crates of bottles for when people were finished their own beer!

No complaints (to my face anyway!)

my mates would usually bring there own beer but id have more just in case and id supply the spirirts. always have a bit of food in or order a few pizzas, doritos and the likes. make a playlist on your ipod, otherwise people will be flicking through songs constantly without finishing one!

That wreaks my tits! Defo make a playlist of music OP. Unless you know yer guests perfer a certain genre, just play some pop stuff to have as background music.

Nice booze photo. What is the food for?

Ditch the barbie. Anything involving flame is a no no at parties I frequent. I remember a bunch of us woke up to find the fire brigade axing in the door due to a chip frying insomniac drunk. That was a goooood party.
