    Hi All

Just looking for some advice on cost of flights. I'm looking to go away in August with a friend, basically plan to fly to Bangkok and travel around SE Asia for two months, then onto Oz probably Sydney for 8-9 months and then south America for two months on the way home ( not really around the world I know)

I checked with trailfinders a few days ago and the route I was looking at was Dublin- Bangkok - Sydney - Buenos Aires - Dublin. Price was €2,300. As a newbie that seemed okish, have heard others go for cheaper but I guess it’s that price due to the fact we're leaving in two months.

Just have a coupe of questions - Does it seem reasonable enough to people who have done similar route? Also, we're now considering flying to Rio and then out of Lima maybe? Any advice on flying in and out of SA or anything else is greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks
