Phase reversal plug-in?

I'd like to monitor for/fix phase issues in real time - currently, via Cubase SE3, I'm recording a track and then processing the audio file after the fact. Is there anything that will phase flip while monitoring in real time?

    Thanks guys.

cubase 4 has a phase button. a little circle with a line on top which appears on all channels. That doesn't appear on your version?

This actually reverses the polarity not phase

Flipping the polarity inverts the waveform - phase is to do with a slight time difference of the same sound source when picked up by different mics.

well a polarity reverse = 180 degree phase shift

so it can be called a phase button as well.

    ie

snare top / snare bottom is usually a 180 degree phase shift so polarity reversal is required usually on the bottom mic channell.

with multiple mics it can help to time align the mics in the daw .
but with things like overheads and close mics on drums - time aliging may not capture all phase issues .
