Estate Agents - Wilson Moore

Hey guys,

I just want to have a rant really. I'm currently looking to buy a house in Dublin, so have been searching the web like anyone else for properties that may suit me. I've read many many brochures and they're all full of EA bullsh1t talk, but have any of you actually seen Wilson Moore's ads????OMFG they are the most annoying ads i've ever seen in my life! EA's are bull****ters alright but no wonder they get such a bad name with clowns like these acting the way they do.

How do they get away with that tripe like? If I was selling my house I wouldn't go near them I think that kinda craic cheapens the property being sold.

I'm actually not even giving their properties a second glance now just cause i can't stand to read one more of their ads. Apparantely EVERY house is just about the best house in the country. UGH rant over!

haha fair enough cathoo i just couldn't help myself!

All their !!!!!!!!!!!! makes me feel like they're just shouting their ad at me. Some of their properties are absolute dives but they talk them up as if they're the best on the market - moreso than other EA's like.

It really makes ya think about anything they say - The Boy who Cried Wolf kinda thing...

That second one does have windows, they're just boarded up so the local ruffians can't ransack the place! Passed by it lots of times.

I have viewed a property with Christina Wilson (one of the owners of Wilson Moore) - she is amazing!!!!

When I go to sell I will be using her!!!!

I've never met her myself but have heard she's a bit wired, hard to talk to kinda thing, but i'm sure she's grand. Nothin against the people there at all - all i'm sayin is their ads are pure and utter ****e and I get a headache when I read them

Please don't name Estate Agents etc. While what you're saying may be accurate- it could equally be applied to any of a large list of other estate agents. In any case- that annoying 'Harvey Norman'-esque sales pitch does appeal to some folk........ (however it induces a homicidal streak in many others.........)
